The Last of Us Part 2: What is Ellie’s Age?

The events of The Last of Us Part 2 take place five years after the previous game, which means that Ellie is now 19 years old. In the original game, Joel met Ellie when she was just a teenager and in the sequel we will see a young adult version of Ellie who is capable of making her own decisions about life and survival.

The Last of Us Part 2 story will be told over the course of 11 in-game days and will span over 45 chapters. During these chapters, players will be able to explore around seven different areas as they follow the story Naughty Dog has crafted. Further, while you’re exploring, there will be plenty of weapons to find and safes to unlock, so be sure to explore around a bit in each area to see what kind of stuff you can find.

Now that you know how old Ellie is in The Last of Us Part 2, as you begin the game, you’ll be able to choose from a couple of different difficulty settings that will go a long way in determining what kind of gameplay experience you have. Further, once you’ve beaten the game, you’ll be able to unlock the New Game Plus mode and can go back through all of the chapters with your weapons and skills to hunt down any collectibles or trophies you may have missed or to simply enjoy the story once again. While it will vary from player to player, The Last of Us Part 2 should take around 25 hours to beat. Of course, if you’re trying to 100% the game or buzz through the main story then it’ll take a bit longer or shorter, respectively.

In it, we said, “One thing I love about this sequel is how it balances the importance of caring about others, especially in an environment as bleak as this world setting.
