God of War Ragnarok marked the end of the 2022 gaming year in style. Many players are just starting Kratos’ new nordic adventures, while some have already finished everything Ragnarok had to offer and now want more! As the authors from Santa Monica Studios have already confirmed that there will be no DLC for the game, the question arises whether this sequel, similar to the original from 2018, will at least get a New Game Plus mode. Let’s find out.
Is God of War Ragnarok Getting a New Game Plus Mode? – Answered
The answer is – yes! God of War Ragnarok will indeed get a New Game Plus mode through an upcoming free update in 2023. as it was confirmed on the official Santa Monica Studio’s Twitter account.
New Game Plus mode is coming to God of War Ragnarok through a free update during Spring 2023 – no exact date has been confirmed yet.
Although we still don’t have any real details about God of War Ragnarok’s New Game Plus mode, it is very likely that it will be similar to the one that was implemented in the first game. The previous God of War from 2018 got New Game Plus update a few months after the game’s release. In this mode, players were able to transfer gear and abilities earned while playing the standard campaign and even craft some new armor sets for Kratos and Atreus.
It remains to be seen what this mod will bring to God of War Ragnarok, we will probably find out before its release sometime during the Spring of 2023.
