First, you’ll need to own Splatoon Amiibo in order to use any in Splatoon 3. If you have any of the Splatoon series, you’re good. It can be from any games, but they need to be the Splatoon ones; your Mario won’t work here, sorry.

Next, you’ll need to head to the giant Amiibo box in the Town Square and interact with it. You can’t miss it – it looks like this:

Just click on the box, scan your Splatoon series Amiibo, and you’ll be able to save Splatoon equipment loadouts and even take photos with the characters you scan in. It really is that simple. Just click and scan, and you’re good to go.
