How to Find Xenolord in Palworld

The only way to find the Xenolord raid boss is by summoning it using the Xenolord Slab at the summoning altar in Palworld.

Unlike the common and the Alpha pals, you won’t find Xenolord at a fixed spot or roaming in the open world of Feybreak Island.

How to Get Xenolord Slabs

To summon Xenolord you must first get the Xenolord fragments. Once you have obtained four pieces of Xenolord fragments, you can craft one Xenolord Slab.

Acquiring the Xenolord fragments is not a straightforward process, for this, you will need to unlock the Expedition Station by reaching level 15 of Technology Tree.

First, you will need to unlock the Expedition Station, which becomes available after reaching level 15 in the Technology Tree. Once unlocked, your next step is to defeat Bjorn and Bastigor, the Feybreak Tower boss introduced in the Feybreak Major content update of the game.

After completing these tasks, the Dark Cave of Feybreak will become accessible, allowing you to send your unused Pals on expeditions. Each expedition lasts around an hour, but sending higher-level Pals can slightly reduce the time required.

NOTE: Keep in mind that Pals returning from expeditions have a chance to bring back a Xenolord Fragment, but it’s not guaranteed. You may need to send out multiple teams to gather at least four fragments.

Once you have collected the necessary fragments, head to a workbench to craft a Xenolord Slab. With the slab ready, you can use it at the summoning altar to spawn the Xenolord raid boss and begin your battle.

How to Beat Xenolord in Palworld

Xenolord is a formidable raid boss, significantly larger and more powerful than both alpha and tower bosses. Its massive 1.3 million health pool and devastating attack patterns make it a challenging opponent. However, with the right preparation, defeating Xenolord is possible.

To stand a chance against the raid boss, ensure you are at least level 60 and have fully upgraded your health and attack stats. This will give you the survivability and damage output needed for the fight.

Next, equip yourself with some of the best weapons available, such as the Plasma Cannon and Laser Gatling Gun, particularly those introduced in the Feybreak Major Content Update. These weapons deal higher damage per shot, and if you have legendary variants, prioritize using them over common rarity versions for maximum effectiveness.

While powerful weapons are key to dealing damage, do not overlook your defense. Equip the best armor you have, ideally, the Lightweight Hexolite Armor introduced in the Feybreak update, as it provides the highest protection against incoming attacks. Additionally, bring the Advanced Shield, also part of the update, for enhanced defense against Xenolord’s devastating blows.

With this combination of preparation and gear, you will be well-equipped to take on Xenolord and have some chance of emerging victorious at the end of the boss fight.

Xenolord has a wide variety of AoE attacks and summons minions that can completely destroy your base if you choose to summon the raid boss there. So I recommend you establish a secondary base away from your main base. This can be done easily by just building a Palbox.

Best Boss Fight Strategy for Xenolord

The first useful strategy is to deploy your higher-tier or alpha Pals from the Palbox at your secondary base. Make sure the summoning altar is positioned away from the Palbox so you can quickly return and bring in additional Pals when your active ones fall to Xenolord’s attacks.

Next, it is essential to have a flying mount with you such as Jetragon. After summoning Xenolord, use the mount to fly away and maintain distance while the boss focuses on your Pals. From the air, you can safely attack using weapons like the Plasma Cannon or Laser Gatling Gun.

When Xenolord summons minions, prioritize eliminating them immediately. These minions will target your Pals, causing them to die much faster if left unchecked. Keeping the minions under control is critical to maintaining your Pals’ survivability.

Bring consumables to boost your performance, such as the Mozzarina Hamburger, which increases your character’s attack damage by 20%. Damage buffs like this are invaluable when facing a boss as challenging as Xenolord.

Be particularly mindful of Xenolord’s area-of-effect (AoE) attacks. One of the most dangerous is when he summons four laser points that fire horizontal beams for several seconds. If you notice this attack starting, either get behind Xenolord or fly high above him to avoid being hit, as this attack can kill you almost instantly.

Another AoE to watch for is Xenolord’s ground slam. He will disappear from the ground and reappear above, either slamming down multiple AoE meteor blasts or crashing directly into the ground. In either case, avoid the area directly beneath him.

Pals like Jetragon or Frostallion are invaluable for this phase, as their speed and mobility allow you to quickly move between the ground and air, helping you stay safe during the fight.
