No matter what your thoughts are on Resident Evil 4 Remake’s puzzles, it is hard to not call them inventive. They might be a bit obscure and difficult to figure out at times, but you can guarantee you will never play another game with puzzles quite like it. Even when you would least expect it, a puzzle can be hiding around a nearby corner. During Chapter 9, a particular puzzle has a lot of people scratching their heads. Here is how to solve the clock puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
How to Complete the Clock Puzzle as Ashley in Resident Evil 4 Remake
During a significant portion of Chapter 9, Leon will find himself trapped beneath a large metal cage with no way of freeing himself. At this point, you will be forced to proceed as Ashley through a rather horrific chapter. While progressing, you will come across a grandfather clock that you can change the hands of freely, though what time it wants you to set the clock to is considerably more confusing.
If you are still at the first clock you encounter, feel free to leave it and move on. Instead, you are looking for the second grandfather clock. Once you are there, search around the room it is in to find a table with a small piece of paper on it. That piece of paper will read the time 11:04 on Assisted/Standard difficulty, and 7:00 on Hardcore/Professional difficulty. Turn the clock hands to that time, and you will open the door! You can also head to the other clock door to enter the same time, opening it as well.
