As you are exploring the expansive underground labs, you will come across a room with several Regenerators in tubes, indicating the disgusting experiments on Las Plagas that were performed here. You will also have found a Biosensor Scope, the usefulness of which has not been entirely clear just yet. The game has also asked you to find a wrench to open up a grate and access a vital bit of progression.

To find this wrench, slap that Biosensor Scope onto a rifle or SMG of some kind. Then, aim it at each of the four tanks until you find the Regenerator with the wrench lodged in its chest. Break open its pod, then start targeting each of its three hearts using that scope. Destroy those, and the Regenerator may evolve. If it does, throw everything you can at its head to take it down. Just be sure to watch out for its attacks in the process. It would also be a smart choice to lure the Regenerator away since it can awaken the other Regenerators in the room to attack you.
