The Relay Circuit puzzle in Rivage is one of the more confusing puzzles, as you have to figure out the logic behind the circuits without any clues. If you’re stuck, we’ll cover the easiest solution for this puzzle below.
How to Start Generator Relay Circuit Puzzle
You can start the Generator and activate the relay circuit puzzle by placing the energy cell inside the Generator in the Observatory and using Jonny Kim’s fingerprint to unlock access to the shutters. This will pull up the puzzle near the base of the auditorium.
Generator Relay Circuit Puzzle Solution
To solve the relay circuit puzzle, you need to power up the node in the bottom right tile with at least two energy. Energy is supplied to the circuit via the corner podium lasers, and you can choose to rotate the relays to the power output node of your choice. When the circuit connects with a ‘+’ tile, it gains a unit of power. Meanwhile, ‘-‘ tiles will reduce your power by one, and going down to 0 will not supply any power, as your whole circuit becomes red.
To solve this puzzle, you need to create a circuit that can connect the bottom right node with at least two sources of power. You do not need to solve the entire circuit and connect every tile to solve this puzzle.
Hint: You can solve this puzzle with only the power supply nodes on the top right of the area.
If you want the exact solution, you can look at the image below. It shows every tile you need to configure, and the circuit includes +4 power from the supply nodes, +1 from the ‘+’ node, and three ‘-‘ nodes, totaling +2 power overall. While other solutions might exist, this one is the easiest to set up. Note that it is one move away from completion, and you just need to rotate the ‘-‘ bottom-right tile.
Once you’ve completed the connection, head back up and pull the lever near the middle of the room.

Once you solve the puzzle, the shutter will open up to give you a fantastic view. More importantly, the Observatory is exposed to sunlight. If you look directly behind the lever you pulled, you will see that the computer has turned on thanks to the solar panel. If you access the files, you can find the barcode information for Jahi’s ID Card.
Luckily, you don’t need to find his card or a damaged version of his card. As long as you know the ID and barcode, you can use Amaan’s card, located inside the chest in the Kitchen area. Congratulations, you now have Level 3 access.
