Did you know that there’s not one, not two, but three herring dishes in the Disney Dreamlight Valley collection log? Herring is one of the most commonly used fish in the game, alongside salmon, cod and tuna. However, there’s more to these dishes than just fish! You’ll need multiple other ingredients to make various herring recipes, especially for Pickled Herring. If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to discover how to make Pickled Herring in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Make Pickled Herring in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Below is the complete recipe for making Pickled Herring in Disney Dreamlight Valley:
- Herring: Fish in Dazzle Beach and the Glade of Trust. You can also frequently find them in Moana’s Fishing Boat.
- Lemon: Forage from wild trees in the Glade of Trust and the Forest of Valor.
- Onion: Purchase from the Goofy Stall in the Forest of Valor. If you grow your own, you’ll have to wait one hour and 15 minutes for the plant to mature.
- Any Spice: Some examples include basil, oregano and ginger. You can forage wild herb plants in each region.
Once you have each ingredient, toss them into a cooking pot to begin making the dish.
While this recipe may sound simple to make at first, it is very similar to two other herring recipes. In particular, Marinated Herring is a much simpler version of this dish, while Arendellian Pickled Herring is almost identical aside from adding garlic. Be careful when adding more ingredients to raise the coin and energy values of Pickled Herring since you may accidentally create one of these dishes instead.
