How to Increase Your Carrying Capacity in Palworld

How to Increase Carrying Capacity in Palworld

If you wish to increase your carrying capacity in Palworld, we have a few tips to help you. When you level up, put a point into the Weight stat at the bottom of your character and inventory screen to increase carrying capacity.

Furthermore, in the early-game zone of Windswept Hills Plateau of Beginning, focus on catching at least one Cattiva with positive traits, as the Pal increases your inventory size so long as they remain in your party.

Tip:

When on a resource-gathering mission, bring five Cattivas to increase your carrying capacity by 250!

Unfortunately, no craftable items, like a backpack, can increase your carrying capacity in the game. That’s definitely an item we’d like to see. That, or some enchantment for armor that increases Weight.

How to Manage Your Growing Inventory

Instead of falling into the common new player trap of carrying every item with you, deposit key components back at your base. You don’t need stone or wood on your person, as you can’t craft in the field without placing down a Primitive Workbench.

  • Craft a handful of wooden chests (15x Wood and 5x Stone) at your base with a Primitive Workbench to store up to ten items or stacks. In doing so, you’ll free up valuable inventory space for adventures. I like to waste resources and build a small shed on the outskirts of my base to store all of the chests.
  • Visit the small settlements in the game to find a trader, or wait at your base for a Wandering Merchant and sell any unwanted items for gold. These settlements all have a fast travel point near the entrance, so you can travel back and forth with loads of goods.

It won’t be long before you know precisely what to keep in your inventory and what to deposit back at the base.
