Veildust is one of the main materials needed to get Serena in The First Descendant’s Beyond the Void season. It is easy to find, but only if you know where to look. Here’s the fastest way to get Veildust in The First Descendant so you can unlock and try out Serena as fast as possible.
Where to Get Veildust in The First Descendant

To get Veildust, you must finish the Void Vessel missions in the Beyond the Void season first. Once you log in, you’ll immediately get the Void Vessel event quest. Event quests will have the same marker as your main quests, so it could be a little confusing. Look for the Void Vessel quest and it should take you around Albion, mostly talking to NPCs.
Once you finish the dialogues, you’ll unlock the Void Vessel missions. Finish them and continue the questline. It’ll take you to Kingston, White-Night Gulch, and back to Albion. It is quite a long one and has two missions attached to the quest line.
Once finished, you’ll unlock the Sigma Sector area, where the Veildust will drop. Any mission in the Sigma Sector Dropoff Operation will drop Veildusts regardless of difficulty.

Best Way to Farm Veildust in The First Descendant

The best way to get Veildust is to farm any Sigma Sector Dropoff Operation, but on “High-Risk,” another word for Hard difficulty. These drop the Blueprints or Codes to unlock Serena, which would be your main goal when farming these Veildusts.
Veildusts drop from the elites and commanders of the operation, and not the last boss. So, if you run to the next objective and miss out on picking the items up, you might not get any Veildust. You want to pick up all the materials that drop, especially the purple ones.
If you run the operation publicly or with other players, take note of the objectives, as they might clear the commanders extremely fast, and you might not notice the elites or commanders dying. If you have a Fellow, they’ll pick them up for you.
If you already have Serena’s Blueprints and Codes, you can run the normal public operation to clear it faster for Veildust. However, this is rarely the case as Serena’s Blueprint and Codes have a low drop rate. On average, you’ll probably get more than 150+ Veildust before getting all of Serena’s Blueprints and Codes.
