How to Get the Hymn Module in The First Descendant

The Hymn module is one of Serena’s best exclusive Transcendant modules in The First Descendant. Since Serena’s support builds are handy in hard intercept fights, getting the Hymn and building Serena is a must. Here’s the best way to get the Hymn module in The First Descendant.

The Best Way to Farm the Hymn Module in The First Descendant

There are two ways to get the Serena-exclusive Transcendent Hymn module: The Void Intercept Battle Hard: Swamp Walker or the Isolated Desert operation from the Beyond the Void season event.

Finishing Swamp Walker Hard would be the fastest way to get the Hymn module, but it also depends on luck. Since intercept battles generally give multiple high-rarity module drops per battle, there are more chances to get the Hymn module. However, there are a lot of other Transcendent modules that drop from the boss, making it harder to get.

If you choose the Isolated Desert operation, the Hymn module has a low chance of dropping at the end of the mission (last boss). But from experience, the Hymn drops quite reliably if you run at least 10 or more times. Unless you’re really unlucky, of course.

If you haven’t unlocked Serena, you should run Isolated Desert until you get her blueprints and codes. You’ll even get some Veildust and other rare materials needed to research Serena’s blueprints. If you’ve obtained all the materials and didn’t get a single Hymn, you can switch to the Swamp Walker on hard difficulty.

Is the Hymn Module Good for Serena in The First Descendant?

Hymn is a great support module for Serena and it is actually a perfect “plug and play” module for whatever type of Serena build.

Since Serena will run Descendant modules that increase her HP, reduce skill costs, reduce skill cooldowns, and boost MP generation, adding the Hymn module to change her ability and add a support utility to give allies movement speed and maximum movement distance is amazing.

She can still be a pseudo-DPS because you are generally building on her Firearm ATK and HP for Redemption’s Justice either way.
