How to Get the Throwing Knife in Apex Legends

The Apex Legends Beasts of Prey event in the long-running, free-to-play battle royale from Respawn Entertainment added many new features into the game – and one of them is a throwing knife! This long-requested weapon is finally here, so keep on reading to find out how to get the Throwing Knife in Apex Legends.

How to Get the Throwing Knife in Apex Legends

The new Throwing Knife in Apex Legends is not a weapon that will simply be added to your arsenal automatically. In order to use it, you have to jump through a couple of hoops first. So, to get Throwing Knife you have to:

1. Enter the New Limited-Time Mode GUN RUN.
2. The Throwing Knife will be the final weapon unlocked in this mode that must be used to make the final kill.

Unfortunately, this is the only opportunity to get your hands on the Throwing Knife in the game, because outside of this time-limited event, this weapon is not available in the standard Apex Legends game modes. This of course could change later in one of the upcoming patches.

Until then, if you want to try out this quick weapon that requires a lot of precision, just play the GUN RUN mode in Apex Legends as part of the Beasts of Prey Collection event. Hurry because this event ends on October 4, 2022. Whether the Throwing Knife will be added to other game modes after the event remains to be seen – but we sure hope so!
