Balanced Plasma Battery drop from the following Infiltration Operation in normal and hard difficulties:

• Quarantine Zone
• Heart of the Fortress

These missions take a while to finish, with Quarantine Zone being the fastest. Heart of the Fortress takes around seven or more minutes using a speedy Bunny build, so it could be much longer for other Descendants. Quarantine Zone can be cut to sub-4-minute runs, but Goroth, the Cold-Blooded Vanguard, is a much harder boss than Greg or Khulan from the Heart of the Fortress.

Best Way to Farm Balanced Plasma Batteries

As I farmed through multiple Quarantine Zone and Heart of the Fortress runs, I noticed that the Balanced Plasma Battery dropped from the Elite Storm Warrior (yellow HP bar enemy). When I ran Quarantine Zone, I couldn’t find any of these Elite Storm Warriors, and I never got a Balanced Plasma Battery in five runs.

In Heart of the Fortress, you encounter the Elite Storm Warrior after beating the Greg clone, which will still take a few minutes to reach. The best way to farm Balanced Plasma Batteries is to rush to this Elite Storm Warrior on Heart of the Fortress and return to Albion after acquiring the batteries. It saves you some time, but if you want the Amorphous Material Pattern, you should still finish the run.
