Tower of Fantasy Gather Crystals

Tower of Fantasy is a free-to-play MMORPG that was recently launched globally. If you’ve been playing the game and are starting to dive into side missions, you may have already started the Fix Omnium Guard quest. This quest line begins with Alfred asking you to gather up crystals.

However, not only is it challenging at first to know where to get them, but it may also be slightly confusing at first to figure out how to obtain them. If you’re interested in finding the answer, continue reading to discover where to find and gather crystals in Tower of Fantasy.

How to Gather Crystals in Tower of Fantasy

The crystal ores you’ll have to break for this mission are large, colored formations that appear near cliffsides. In particular, you’ll find some scattered along the ground beside the Astra Southern Ring Ranges mountains, surrounding Barrenstown and northeast of the shelter.

The crystal ore’s color determines how you’ll break it. For example, a purple crystal is destroyed using Volt weapons. Similarly, red ones require a Fire weapon to break. If you don’t use the right element, the crystal will not take any damage. The elemental ores take five total hits to destroy.

After breaking the ores, you’ll gain one crystal item and some elemental stones. You’ll have to break 10 crystal formations to finish the first part of the mission for Alfred.

Additionally, they drop weapon augment consumables you can use to upgrade your equipment. The red crystal drops Firecores, while the purple one drops Magcores. If you’re looking for items to level up your weapons, breaking these elemental crystals is a great method for farming them.

Be careful not to confuse these elemental ores for the smaller, pale purple crystal formations you find around the map. These crystals are far more common but do not drop the items necessary for this mission. They also don’t require a specific elemental weapon to destroy.

Tower of Fantasy is available on PC, Android, and iOS devices through the official website. If you’re interested in learning more about the game, check out Where to Find Mushrooms and Where to Find All Astra Scenic Points.
