Hogwarts Legacy – How to Destroy the Orb
After you deal some significant damage to the Pensieve Guardian, you’ll hit a phase of the fight where the guardian spawns an orb. This energy ball will increase in size as others around it appear as well. You’ll know it when you see it, and if the orb isn’t destroyed in time, then your character will be hit with a high-damage attack.
The key to destroying the orb in Hogwarts Legacy is pure damage or matching a spell to the color of the orb. You’ll notice that a few hits won’t destroy the energy building up, but don’t let that discourage you. Utilize all of the red spells that you have such as Incendio and Confringo to dump as much damage as possible on the orb. When the orb is yellow or purple, use spells like Glacius and Descendo to burst it.

Mixed with a Focus Potion as well, you can spam these high-damage spells with great effect. Then the orb will shatter and the Pensieve Guardian will be stunned.
