Getting hit by debuffs is annoying and Monster Hunter Wilds has many to get annoyed by. Some monsters even rely on these mechanics, making the fights extremely difficult. When you reach the Guardian Ebony Odogaron monster, for example, you’ll bleed a few times.
Here are multiple ways you can stop those bleeds and any encounter in the future that may cause bleeding in Monster Hunter Wilds.
How to Remove Bleeding in Monster Hunter Wilds

To remove bleeding, you must cure the debuff with a “Wild Jerky.” The item sells for 98z in the Provisions vendor in any camp. Considering its use, it is important to always have a few of these in your inventory, since apart from the Guardian Ebony Odogaron monster, you can also bleed from environmental causes.
How does dehydrated meat close up wounds? We don’t know either, but it’s a feature, not a bug.
Consuming a Wild Jerky instantly removes bleeding, but using items while in combat does force you to walk slowly for a bit, which may cause you to take damage.
However, that method is way better than stopping bleeds by crouching for a few seconds. You are way slower while crouching and also prone to dangerous incoming attacks.
Sometimes you can also call your Seikret when available. Since you can use consumables while mounted, you can move quicker while using a consumable to avoid incoming attacks better.
Apart from crouching or using a Wild Jerky, you’ll also encounter Rations, which will stop bleeding when consumed. You can get them from the Ingredient Center on the Support Desk NPC.
The Ration also restores a bit of stamina, so when you are rolling to evade damage in combat, you can use a Ration in between and cure the bleeding while regaining the stamina lost from dodging.
How to Stop and Prevent Bleeding in Monster Hunter Wilds

To stop and prevent bleeding, you can use different levels of Bleed Charm Talismans from the Smithy or Gemma. The Talisman could be upgraded to different levels, increasing its Bleeding Resistance stat per level.
While bleeding is quite situational, fighting the high-rank versions of monsters with bleed mechanics will certainly force you to prepare specifically for that fight by catering your equipment for the encounter and bringing Wild Jerkies, Rations, and your highest level of Bleed Charm Talisman.
Bleeding drains your health over time, and getting hit with the condition forces you to use a lot of potions or healing consumables if not treated instantly. If you are not used to using the items, you can familiarize yourself with the controls to swap and use items using the Radial menu more easily.
