Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Ancient Doorway Quest Guide

Below are the steps to completing the “The Ancient Doorway” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

  • Speak to Ariel to begin the quest.
  • Talk to Merlin about the Stone Slab.
  • Talk to Ariel.
  • Talk to Remy about his passions.
  • Talk to Moana about excitement.
  • Talk to Ursula about anger.
  • Figure out where to place the Stone Slab in the Mystical Cave.
  • Pick up the Mystical Crystal.
  • Meet with Ariel at her House.
  • Give Ariel the Mystical Crystal.

When you speak to Ariel to begin the mission, she’ll tell you about a mysterious door in Dazzle Beach’s Mystical Cave. She also tells you found a Stone Slab related to this mystery and suggests that Merlin can help. Upon speaking to Merlin, he’ll reveal the Stone Slab requires four emotional enchantments. Return to Ariel to deliver this news.

After talking to Ariel again, she’ll unintentionally fulfill one of the four enchantments before you both realize that it requires gaining these emotions from three other villagers. The first thought that comes to mind is speaking to Remy the rat about his passions, initiating the first of this three-part mini adventure. You’ll have to repeat this with Moana and Ursula before getting into the meat of the quest.

Once you speak to Remy, Moana and Ursula and complete the enchantments, it’s time to dive into the Mystical Cave in Dazzle Beach. You’ll have to descend into the cave, past the previous trials, until you reach the bottom floor with the small pond. Next to the nearby stone pillars, you’ll find a peculiar-looking stone wall with a hole inside. You’ll have to interact with this wall and place the slab inside to open up the area. Doing this reveals a crystal on the ground, which you’ll have to pick up and return to Ariel.
