Feel the wind and ice while watching leaves dance around

One of the most exciting parts of Disney Dreamlight Valley is inviting various characters to your village! While you’ll initially start with a few, travelling to different Realms and assisting others will help you grow Dreamlight Valley to its former glory. A great example is recruiting Anna, Kristoff and Elsa from Frozen to live in your town after finishing various quests for each. While Anna and Kristoff join early on, you’ll have to put in some extra effort to recruit Elsa too. Below are the steps to completing the “Chasing the Wind” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

  • Meet Elsa on the other side of the bridge.
  • Gather the materials for the Wind Chimes: Softwood, Iron Ingot, Twine
  • Craft the Wind Chimes.
  • Place all three Wind Chimes in different trees near Elsa.
  • Talk to Elsa.

After completing Anna’s initial quest line and locating Elsa at the end of the Frozen Realm’s path, you’ll gain the opportunity to speak to her about the situation. She’ll express gratitude for helping her sister before asking for assistance calming the Wind Spirit. You’ll suggest making Wind Chimes, to which Elsa supports the idea.

To make the Wind Chimes for the quest, you’ll need three different items:

  • Twine x3: Elsa will give you this item. Make sure you have enough inventory space to hold it!
  • Iron Ingot x 3: Craft using iron ore and coal. You’ll find Iron Ore by breaking the dark rocks in the Forest of Valor and the Glade of Trust.
  • Softwood x15: Pick up off the ground in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, the Forest of Valor and the Glade of Trust.

With all three items on hand, head to any nearby Crafting Station and go to the Functional Items tab. You’ll find the Wind Chimes there to make. Head back to the Frozen Realm and place them along the trees before speaking to Elsa again. The trees will sparkle when you approach them, indicating where the right spots are.
