The map of Hogwarts Legacy is full of Merlin Trials that task players with some quick ways to earn XP and additional inventory slots when enough Merlin Trials have been completed. While some are very simple to complete, others like the Keenbridge Merlin Trial can be easy to miss.
When this trial begins, there will not be any pillars or magical cubes that appear. It makes figuring out the puzzle even more difficult if you have never dealt with the giant spheres before. Our Keenbridge Merlin Trial guide in Hogwarts Legacy will cover how you can easily get through this and be on your way.
Hogwarts Legacy – How to Complete the Keenbridge Merlin Trial
As you head south of the castle and explore more of the map, Keenbridge is one of the first major Hamlets that you will encounter. It also happens to be the place where J. Pippin needs his potions delivered. The Trial platform can be found on the northeast side of the village next to the bridge.
Once you throw the Mallowsweet Leaves on the platform, you can look for a stone carver crater across the bridge, east of the Trial spot. This crater needs to be fitted with a stone sphere, but it is nowhere near this spot. You are able to use Revelio to highlight all of the necessary items in blue.

The stone sphere you need is located to the southwest behind the twisted tree on the street. Use your Revelio in town and look in that direction and you will see the sphere. At this point, you must have Wingardium Leviosa in order to move the boulder to the crater on the other side. Levioso will not cut it for the Keenbridge Merlin Trial in Hogwarts Legacy.
