Diablo 4 Lunar Awakening 50% Character Experience Boost

Getting a quick 50% (multiplicative) XP boost is as easy as activating a Lunar Shrine. These dragon-themed Shrines replace the typical Shrines you’d find in the overworld, with some featuring cleansing events with associated Mastery goals. Any Lunar Shrine will grant a 50% XP buff and 30% Movement Speed increase when activated, but their other effects vary depending on type. The experience boosts last as long as the Shrine effect, so make sure you make the most of it and blast as many baddies as you can!

The best way to guarantee yourself a Lunar Shrine is to keep an eye out for their unique map marker or run ‘Ancestor’s Favor’ Affix Nightmare Dungeons. The Ancestor’s Favor guarantees that only Lunar Shrines will appear in place of normal ones inside the dungeon, and these Sigils don’t expire after the event ends, so hoarding them for some extra XP down the road might be a good idea. These Nightmare Dungeons have the added bonus of granting a (wait for it)…

Lunar Awakening 10% Glyph Experience Boost

The Ancestor’s Favor affix not only gives you Lunar Shrines, but a 10% increase in experience earned toward your chosen Glyph at the end of the dungeon. The Ancestor’s Favor affix is random, and can appear on any Nightmare Sigil (Vault or normal Dungeon) that’s looted or crafted during the event. As mentioned, you should stockpile these for later!

The event, of course, also boasts a host of new cosmetic rewards, featuring 10 tiers of items tied to earning Ancestral Favor. For more details, stop by our Lunar Awakening Rewards Guide!
