You’re close to finishing off what many could consider an early Game of the Year contender, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still choices to be made. When hanging out with Aerith, which gift should you choose for her — the bracelet or the clip — in FF7 Rebirth?
Should You Pick the Bracelet or the Clip in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?
At the start of Chapter 14, Cloud and Aerith find themselves in her home — and it’s time for a day on the town. After leaving and heading out, you’ll encounter a Jeweler who has a few small gifts Cloud can pick from to give to his date;
- A Golden Bracelet
- A Pink Hair Clip
- A Stamp Figure
However, any object you pick will be declined by the Stall Owner. He’ll let you know that he meant that anything besides the object you picked is available, and proceeds to give you a beautiful golden hair clip in its place. Aerith is over the moon with this particular item, so it’s still a successful day out, even if you don’t get to pick something specifically for her.
You’ll also have the opportunity to pick a specific piece of candy shortly after this interaction, and once again the choice you make will not truly matter — you’ll be given a special piece of candy just made by the Stall Owner in that location as well. The illusion of choice here is just as real here as it was in chapter 6, so pick whatever your heart says you should and keep rolling with the punches.
