Destiny 2 Guardian Games – What We Know

Sure, the Tokyo Olympics have been postponed, but that doesn’t mean that we miss out on chances to flex against other competitors in a grand arena of physicality. We’re talking, of course, about the Destiny 2 Guardian Games. Honestly, they couldn’t have come at a better time, and we’re talking about as soon as next week. If you’re someone who has absolutely no idea about what the Guardian Games are, Bungie has actually done a primer about what they’re intending to bring to Destiny 2 with the experience, but you can have some of our pointers as well. We reckon that the armor that’s on offer looks super flash, and we’re definitely very hype to rep the classes that are our number ones.

From the looks of things, the Guardian Games are going to start on April 21 and run until May 12. They’re even using the Olympics branding when it comes to a color scheme and logo style, so really, this is about as good as it’s going to get for anyone who was going to head over to Japan to watch people ski or something.

Essentially, the Guardian Games will pit class against class in various factions, and the victor will be commemorated. Everyone looks like they’ve got an amazing fit, and there’s also the announcement of the Heir Apparent HMG which you’re going to be able to win if you take part in this event. While the Season of the Worthy continues to truck on, this will be a welcome reprieve from everything else that we’ve got going on and a nice, light-hearted way to bring a different kind of competitive spirit to the game.

If you don’t own Destiny 2 and you’re wanting to make sure that you don’t miss out on flexing the colors and style of a class that you’ve somehow fallen for, why not pick it up using this Amazon link here and support Prima Games at the same time?

If we can’t quite convince you then maybe this Shaxxercise video showing off the very essence of style in Destiny 2 will help you make up your mind – we’ve also written about the fitness initiative here
