With Call of Duty: Next out of the way, it’s time to gear up for the Modern Warfare 2 Open Beta period. For the next two weekends, the game will be available to play under different conditions, and PC players will need to know the proper system requirements.

In weekend one, it’s only the PlayStation users who can test out the game for themselves. However, the second weekend will be open for everyone, and then PC players can join in. Keep reading below to make sure your PC matches the minimum or recommended system requirements in the Open Beta.

Open Beta PC System Requirements for Modern Warfare 2

Not only is Call of Duty a massive game in terms of storage at this point, but it also can take some heavy lifting to run the game at its finest. Modern Warfare 2 looks fantastic and that obviously comes at a price. The Open Beta is free for everyone by September 24, so there’s no harm in trying. But if you want to make sure your PC holds up before jumping in, check out all the system requirements below.

The Open Beta for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 begins on September 16, but early access PlayStation users will be the only ones in until the full platform joins a couple of days later. For PC players who didn’t preorder the game, you can jump into the beta from September 24-26. By then, you’ll have a few days to get a feel of the game on PC.
