If you’re wondering why you want the Borderlands 3 Kaos Legendary to add to your arsenal, well, we can give you a couple of reasons. First and foremost, one thing you might want to know about this particular Dahl assault rifle is that it always spawns as elemental. Because recent tweaks to Dahl assault rifles have made it so that their base damage is bumped by a whopping 35%, we’re actually pretty stoked that some of these Legendary picks are rotating back into the community’s eye, and an elemental weapon is always handy. The special effect unique to Kaos is called “Grants the mystical art of exploding smallhands” and the effect is as follows: enemies killed will create a large explosion of the weapon’s element, and those caught in the blast radius of the explosion will be damaged and have the weapon’s element applied as a status effect.
The Borderlands 3 Legendary Kaos weapon isn’t all that hard to obtain. In fact, while you can get it from pretty much any loot source out in the world, it has an increased chance to drop from the Psychobillies who are kicking around Ambermire on Eden-6, which means that you have a specific enemy that you can farm instead of just praying that the next Skag you crush the skull of will magically manifest this bad boy into the world. The Kaos can spawn as one of the following elements if you’re looking to fill a particular hole in your inventory:
- Corrosive
- Cryo
- Incendiary
- Shock
