Borderlands 3 The Lob Guide – Getting This Legendary Weapon

If you’re not sure why you might want to get your hands on The Lob, then let’s give you a bit of a rundown of this Torgue gun. It’s a Legendary which already puts it a tier above some of the bullet hoses that you can pick up just by caving someone’s chest in on Pandora. That being said, The Lob has a special weapon effect and is known as an elemental shotgun. This weapon effect is called “Everything has to be magical” and it means that the weapon fires one, slow moving elemental orb that can pass through enemies. However, once it hits a surface like a wall or floor, it will do splash damage. The Lob can spawn as one of the following elements so we’d keep that in mind considering its weapon effect:

  • Corrosive
  • Cryo
  • Incendiary
  • Radiation
  • Shock

Now for the reason that you’re all here, most likely. You want to know how to actually pick up the Borderlands 3 The Lob shotgun. Well, we’ve got good and bad news. The good news is that it’s not exactly something that you’ve missed the boat on i.e. it doesn’t require a special event or a special quest to be unlocked to get it. The bad news? You basically have to just pray that you’re going to get it from some random loot source because that’s the only way that it drops. We’d definitely recommend farming an easy boss over and over instead of just running around on a planet and hoping that you’ll get it if you kick the right Psycho’s door down. Can we suggest the Graveward for all your farming needs? Now, once you’ve decided that you’re going to do to get your hands on the weapon, all you need is patience. We believe in you!

Now that you’ve got your hands on our Borderlands 3 The Lob guide, then it should be easier for you to pick up this Torgue Legendary shotgun. We reckon now’s a good time to make sure that you’re shoring up on elemental weapons and the like, so it’s a smart pick for that reason alone even if you already have shotguns on hand.
