Nevermind the bridal registry. All Vault Hunters who have been invited to the Hammerlock and Jacobs nuptials due to take place in Borderlands 3 on March 26 will no doubt be feverishly prepping for the happy couple. We think that one rather explosive way to commemorate their love would be to show up with an incendiary SMG. One of the best examples in this category is the Boomer Borderlands 3 Legendary, so here’s our guide on how to get it.

Boomer Borderlands 3 Guide – Legendary Weapon

Why might someone want to pick up the Boomer? Well, unlike every other Boomer that you’re familiar with, this particular Dahl legendary submachine gun packs a hell of a punch and won’t harp on about privatized healthcare being the way of the future. The Boomer is great in our opinion because of its rather explosive special weapon effect called “Some like it hot”. What does it do? It makes it so that the shots from this SMG explode on impact. It’ll either spawn as an Incendiary weapon or without an element, with the former being great for melting down enemies into a heap of, well, meat.

If you’re curious about how to get your hands on the Boomer, it’s probably about as easy as visiting your racist uncle will be. Yes, you read that right. You can pick it up from any place that you can expect to find loot in Borderlands 3 within Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC, but one boss in particular has an increased chance to drop this submachine gun. Yes, we’re talking about the Scraptrap Prime who lives in The Compactor. There are a bunch of other wild beasties that are worth farming in that particular DLC, including the Wandering Debt Collector (and we have a guide on that relinked for you here) so feel free to alternate between the two until you get the SMG of your destructive dreams.

Now that you’ve got our guide to picking up the Boomer Borderlands 3 weapon, it should be a little easier for you to gun your foes down so long as you’ve actually managed to make it to Mad Moxxi’s casino heist. We’re gunning for you! Well, not quite as literally as that. Need a hand with anything else in Borderlands 3 or kicking around the galaxy? Here are some tips and tricks that we’ve prepared for Vault Hunters just like you in our dedicated guides hub:
