We’re really not all that far away from the next wave of Borderlands 3 DLC dropping – we’re talking the impending Hammerlock and Jacobs nuptials on March 26 – so while we’re waiting to get caught up on all the lovey-dovey nonsense, why not make sure that we’ve totally cleared out the DLC content that’s currently available? We’re talking about achievement hunting what’s left of Moxxi’s heist of Handsome Jack’s misappropriated casino, and one enemy within in particular. Here’s our Borderlands 3 Wandering Debt Collector location guide to help you out.

Borderlands 3 Wandering Debt Collector Location Guide

We just talked about achievement hunting, so you’re probably wondering what Borderlands 3 achievement related to the Wandering Debt Collector in particular. It’s called Who Collects The Collector, and as long as you kill it, you’ll be able to earn said achievement. We have a full list of all the Borderlands 3 achievements for those who are interested, and we’ve relinked it here for your convenience. Now, to defeat the Wandering Debt Collector, you’re first going to have to find him.

In case it wasn’t obvious already, this enemy only shows up as part of the Mad Moxxi DLC that’s available. This means that they’re centralized to Handsome Jack’s casino. There’s also a clue in the name of this enemy – it’s not always in one set place. It’s a roaming boss (one of the many in the game), and it will spawn inside the Spendopticon. Basically, it’s right out the front of the casino and it will be gallivanting around once you’ve met the criteria to spawn it. This criteria is pretty straightforward: you just have to have completed the optional mission called Sisterly Love. You can pick this up from Sandy Hart in the DLC, and only there. Once you’ve completed it, the Wandering Debt Collector will begin its spawn run around the map.

It’s worth bearing in mind that this is a rare spawn, so if you don’t see it then you might want to reload spam yourself into the game until it shows up. It’s not got more than the area outside the casino that it can be, so just reload until you happen across this absolutely gigantic son that you can take down. It’s not an incredibly difficult boss fight by our estimation, so load in and kick its butt when you find it for maximum effectiveness and voila! The achievement you want will be yours.

Now that you have our Borderlands 3 Wandering Debt Collector location guide in hand, it should be easier to earn yourself Who Collects The Collector. In fact, it’s practically a foolproof endeavor so long as you’ve followed our instructions from earlier.
