To get it, you’ll have to find the Borderlands 3 Gigamind boss. Here’s how.
Borderlands 3 Gigamind Guide – Getting the Smart-Gun XXL
So, you’re after the Gigamind? Don’t worry about being galaxy-brained, mate. This guy will give you a run for you money in that department, because he’s quite literally, a big brain. Yeah, Borderlands 3 isn’t known for its subtlety and this is honestly a prime example of that. The good thing about Gigamind is the Smart-Gun XXL, which is a Tediore weapon that has an increased chance to drop from this boss in particular. Why do we think this gun is so good? When you have to reload it, you end up chucking the gun and doing so will spawn turrets that track and shoot targets.
The special weapon effect is called ‘Busy getting brain like Krang’ and it will not only spawn a Gigamind turret, but it will also give you increased elemental damage and splash effects. The gun will consume 2 ammo with each shot that’s fired. To get this particular Legendary submachine gun, you’re first going to have to actually find the Borderlands 3 Gigamind boss. It’s not actually all that hard if you know your way around the Meridian Metroplex. You’re going to want to keep your eye out for the Coffee Shop to the far right of the map. You’ll notice an alley next to it that you can slip into, and then all you have to do is follow the proverbial yellow brick road to a dead end where you’ll find Gigamind. Defeat this boss repeatedly if you’re wanting to farm the Smart-Gun XXL and you’re set!
