How to Finish Passion for Ergonomics in Escape from Tarkov

The Passion for Ergonomics is a quest from Mechanics introduced in Escape from Tarkov’s 0.16 patch. It is your typical “find a quest item with several spawn locations and take it out of the raid” quest, but since it will be in Customs, it’ll be a bit harder because of the high chance of encountering PMCs. Nevertheless, you can prepare by setting up with a good loadout and learning where to get the quest so you can do a quick in-and-out raid. Here’s how to complete the Passion for Ergonomics task in Escape from Tarkov.

How to Complete the Passion for Ergonomics Task in Escape from Tarkov

To complete the Passion for Ergonomics quest, locate and obtain the customized tool set at the garage complex on Customs. The customized tool set looks like a briefcase, similar to several quest items in Escape from Tarkov.

The “garage complex” is sometimes called the storage or container yard. It is near the Trailer Park and Crossroads extraction and beside the Tarcone warehouse building. Several PMC spawns are in the area, and Scavs also frequent these spots (Tarcone and storage yard).

It will be a “hot” area at the start or by the end of the raid timer. There are also several quests near the area, so you’ll have to be wary of enemies.

Customized Tool Set Location

The storage unit you are looking for is storage or container #11. It is next to storage unit #10 and across storage unit #96. To get a much clearer idea of where this container is, it is in the corner near the Trailer Park extraction, which means it is opposite the Crossroads extraction (if you are inside the storage yard).

Spawn #1

Once you enter the unit, the first spawn is under the car in the driver’s seat.

Spawn #2

The next possible spawn is under the metallic shelf next to the car.

Spawn #3

The third possible spawn is by the fallen container at the car’s trunk.

Spawn #4

The last possible spawn is by the car’s front bumper, leaning on the storage container door.

You can finish this quest along with several other Customs quests like Provide Viewership so you can be more efficient. If you spawn on the opposite side of the map, your extraction will be in Trailer Park or Crossroads, making it easier to finish the quest since your extraction is beside the quest.
