After a series of updates that went live in Season 2, the VEL 46 joined the top ranks of submachine guns while the Fennec lost its seat at the table. Now the weapon is one of the best close quarters options for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Season 3 and DMZ, as long as the right loadout is utilized.
Because the weapon has some fantastic base stats, this is an easy tool to slot attachments for and can be picked up as sniper support for most scenarios. Our COD DMZ and Warzone 2 guide will cover the best attachments for the VEL 46 and why they’re necessary for the build.
Warzone 2 Season 3 & COD DMZ – Best VEL 46 Loadout
This build will be focused on secondary fights, so we don’t need to worry about having major range enhancements or a ton of recoil control. Instead, the focus should be on mobility, ammo capacity, and a little control mixed in for medium-ranged fights just like the Vaznev-9k. All the attachments can be found below.
VEL 46 Loadout Warzone 2 & COD DMZ:
- Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum
- Stock: Assault-60 Stock
- Rear Grip: Schlager Soldier Grip
- Laser: VLK LZR 7mw
- Magazine: 50 Round Mag
Our two mobility attachments are the Schlager Soldier Grip on the rear grip and the VLK LZR 7mw laser. In most cases, we wouldn’t want a visible laser, but the VLK will only show up in ADS. For a weapon based on close-quarters action, the laser won’t be an issue as long as you aren’t holding long ranges. I like to remove visible lasers if I think range will be an issue, so keep that in mind.

As for the rest of the pieces, we want the Assault-60 Stock and the Bruen Pendulum muzzle for some extra stability. Without at least a little balance, I can tell you that the VEL 46 will bounce around far too much in COD without a helping hand. Add the 50 Round Mag on for more ammo and you’re golden for Warzone 2 and the DMZ.
