Best Cronen Squall Loadout in Warzone 2 Season 3 & DMZ

Battle Rifles have entered the meta.

Two fresh weapons were added to Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and the DMZ mode in Season 3, and both of them have quickly become top contenders in the meta. The Cronen Squall, in particular, has proven that battle rifles can pack a serious punch with the right loadout involved.

Unlike the other battle rifles in the game, this one starts with full auto by default and is meant to be used much more like a deadly assault rifle. Or if you’d like, you can continue using semi-auto fire. Either way, using the loadout below will ensure the Cronen Squall is in the top tier of the meta.

Warzone 2 Season 3 & COD DMZ – Best Cronen Squall Loadout

Although the Squall is a battle rifle, I still recommend building the weapon like you would with any other assault rifle or light machine gun. That means prioritizing the control attachments across the board and increasing the overall magazine capacity because we won’t be able to take down players as we can with a one-shot sniper.

Cronen Squall Loadout For DMZ & Warzone 2:

  • Barrel: HR6.8 Barrel
  • Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
  • Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum
  • Optic: Aim OP-V4

Three attachments in this build are based on recoil control, and those include the Sakin Tread-40, the HR6.8 Barrel, and the Lockgrip Precision-40. All of these together will ensure that the Squall can melt enemies at nearly any range with no issues at all, especially when they are tuned for accuracy.

Next, we just want the 50 Round Drum and a decent optic. I prefer to use the Aim OP-V4 scope due to the visual recoil and the clean sight picture. However, it’s up to you which optic works best. Then just pair it with one of the better SMGs in COD Warzone 2 and you’re good to go.
