Grab Assassinate

Grab Assassinate – After grabbing an enemy, press RB, R1, or F to assassinate them.

Grab Assassinate adds so much utility to your gameplay. Imagine using your Eagle Vision, and you see several enemies patrolling together, but you just can’t find the right timing to pick someone off without alerting the other.

Grab Assassinate lets you grab the enemy, pull them to another spot, and assassinate them in one swoop. That adds a ton of utility when you are trying to clear the whole area and assassinate everybody stealthily.

There are even funny clips revolving around grabbing enemies and pulling them by the ear as if you are about to scold them right after.

Vault

Vault – Press Circle, B (Xbox), or Q after deflecting an attack to jump over them and inflict Vulnerable.

Vault is more for combat than stealth. When you are surrounded by multiple enemies, blocking an attack and vaulting gets you out of a predicament easily. This also works well for elite enemies since you can inflict Vulnerable and make them easier to eliminate.

You can upgrade the skill even more with Destabilizing Vault, which increases your critical strike chance by 25% after using Vault. If you go even further, High Vault lets you throw a Shuriken mid-air on a successful vault, which has a high chance of being a critical strike, too.

Heightened Senses

Heightened Senses – While undetected, time slows down around Naoe for 8 seconds. Once seen, the ability disappears.

Heightened Senses is perfect for those who aren’t very patient or who are new to the Assassin’s Creed franchise. It slows everything down, giving you more time to react to a situation.

The next upgrade is Extended Perception, which increases the duration for four more seconds, but the best upgrade should be Critical Insight, which resets Heightened Senses upon successful assassinations.

Extended Perception isn’t really worth it until you reach Critical Insight. You should combine this skill with some of the best Assassin skills to complement the stealthy assassination playstyle.

Lightning Kicks

Lightning Kicks – Knock down the two closest enemies and deal 15% ability damage to each.

Lightning Kicks is perfect when you are stuck in sticky situations and need space. Kicks are easy to throw, and knocking down enemies is both an offensive and defensive move. Try incorporating these kicks into your combos when enemies surround you so you can at least knock some down.
