How to Get Eleonora’s Poleblade in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC

Elden Ring players can get Eleonora’s Poleblade weapon by completing the Bloody Finger Hunter Yura questline in the base game. Players can travel back to the mainland from the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, so long as they have not progressed too far in the story.

This is a multi-step questline that requires a fair amount of travel and access to the Altus Plateau region, as players will wind up at the Second Church of Marika for the weapon. Here are the quickest steps to get to the end of the questline:

  • Talk to Bloody Finger Hunter Yura under the ruins northeast of the Seaside Ruins Site of Grace in Limgrave.
  • Defeat Bloody Finger Nerijus invader near Murkwater Cave.
  • Find the red summon sign on the bridge north of the Main Academy Gate Site of Grace in Raya Lucaria.
  • Defeat Bloody Finger Ravenmount Assassin and talk to Bloody Finger Hunter Yura after the fight.
  • Travel north from Atlas Highway Junction Site of Grace and jump off the slight cliff to the Second Church of Marika.
  • Defeat Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger invader to receive Eleonora’s Poleblade.

Eleonora’s Poleblade requires 21 Dexterity, 19 Arcane, and 12 Strength to wield, though the build emphasizes Arcane to increase the amount of blood loss that the weapon can do. Endurance is also important so you do not run out of stamina after multiple hits. Here is the full Eleonora’s Poleblade build:

  • Eleonora’s Poleblade
  • White Mask helm
  • Any Armor, Gauntlets, and Greaves that you’re comfortable with
  • Lord of Blood’s Exultation
  • Millicent’s Prosthesis
  • Rotten Winged Sword Insignia
  • Shard of Alexander
  • Flask of Wondrous Physick
    • Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear/Viridian Hidden Tear (Requires DLC)
    • Thorny Cracked Tear

The White Mask and Lord of Blood’s Exultation are necessary to increase attack power after blood loss, while the Millicent’s Prosthesis and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia raise attack power with multiple hits. The Shard of Alexander increases Skill power, so the weapon’s Bloodblade Dance becomes even stronger as it also deals multiple hits on its own.

Players should drink the Flask of Wondrous Physick before any tough fight with Thorny Cracked Tear, which makes consecutive attacks stronger, and Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear for boosted fire damage. Shadow of the Erdtree players can even try Viridian Hidden Tear, which eliminates all stamina consumption for a short time. Just make sure to watch your stamina once it wears off.
