The Sims 4 is constantly expanding with new DLC. Some are full-on expansions, others are little personal fun touches as seen with Baby Yoda. The latest is a smaller update, but one that will offer a ton of new customization options for all skin tones.

“For the past 20 years, The Sims has strived to empower people to express themselves—both in the game and in real life—and our collaboration with M·A·C Cosmetics further celebrates the diversity and creativity of our amazing community,” said Lyndsay Pearson, General Manager and Executive Producer of The Sims, to Prima Games. “Players can experiment with these new makeup looks from M·A·C to create Sims that are unique and redefine their own rules of beauty.”

MAC and The Sims both share a similar philosophy of inclusivity and with the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement still going strong in countries all over the world against police brutality, the two companies figured now was the time to give even more ways players could lose themselves for a little bit in an escape while still being their truest self.

The Sims 4 is also adding the #MACxTheSims hashtag for those players that want to share those in-game lewks online for a chance to get featured. It’s not the strangest DLC to drop in The Sims 4, but it’s pretty nifty. As a huge makeup lover myself when doing cosplay, this will be a fun little addition to the game and making our Avatars look even better than they already do.
