The Sylvan Glade is a hidden lot that’s unlocked by interacting with a special tree in Willow Creek. It’s not found on any map and cannot be traveled to from the map like most other lots. Instead, you must complete a special series of tasks to reach it.

How to Enter the Sylvan Glade in The Sims 4

You can enter the Sylvan Glade by building your relationship with a magical tree until you unlock the option to explore it. There are quite a few steps in this process, so here’s a full breakdown of how to gain entry to this hidden area.

  • Travel to Foundry Cove in Willow Creek. This is the neighborhood in the bottom right corner with the BFF household and other lots like Crick Cabana and Bargain Bend.
  • Locate the special tree near the river. You’re looking for a tree that looks a bit different from the rest, as it has vibrant mushrooms growing all over it.
  • Click on the tree and select the “View” option. Repeat this action until more options appear. It generally takes around six attempts for other options to pop up.
  • Select all interactive dialogue options that appear. The exact ones each player gets vary, but you might see options like “Discuss Nature” and “Compliment on Leaves” on the tree.
  • After choosing two interactive options, select the “Explore” option on the tree. If you don’t see it at this point, continue socializing with the tree until it appears.

The entrance to the Sylvan Glade is now open, but to reach it, you have to choose the correct path answers to reach it. After selecting “Explore,” your Sim will get four unique pop-ups. Selecting the right option in each one is crucial if you want to unlock the hidden area.

  • For the first pop-up, select the “Follow the sound” option.
  • For the second pop-up, select the “Follow downstream” option.
  • For the third pop-up, select the “Enter the mist” option.
  • For the fourth pop-up, select the “Travel to the glade” option.

As soon as you select the fourth option, your Sim will travel to the hidden Sylvan Glade lot. It’s an ethereal pink landscape where you can find rare collectibles, including the elusive Treefish. Other items you can grab from this special area include Snapdragons, Cherries, Mushrooms, Strawberries, Lilies, Bluebells, Frogs, and Fish.

Throughout the many quests featured in each week of the Forever Friends event, you’ll need to visit this lot a couple of times. You’ll also need to have your child Sim move their stuffed animal toy here.
