Where to Get Crystalline Cyst Dust in Genshin Impact

There are three main ways to get Crystalline Cyst Dust in Genshin Impact:

  1. Defeating Level 60+ Fungi enemies
  2. Purchasing from Paimon’s Bargains for two Masterless Starglitter
  3. Crafted using three Luminescent Pollen

Paimon’s Bargains

In Paimon’s Bargains under Starglitter Exchange, you’ll find the option to buy three Crystalline Cyst Dust for two Starglitter. If you don’t want to grind Fungi enemies for them or don’t feel like buying more gacha pulls, buying the dust here is a viable but expensive method.

Crafting Using Luminescent Pollen

If you have a lot of Luminescent Pollen and don’t know what to do with it all, here’s your answer! Head to a local crafting bench to craft three pollen into one Crystalline Cyst Dust. If you still need some, though, be careful not to use it all.

Defeating Level 60 Fungi

The main way to farm Crystalline Cyst Dust in Genshin Impact is to defeat Level 60 Floating Fungi. Since they spawn exclusively in Sumeru, you’ll have to be at least Adventure Rank 35 and finish Chapter II: Act IV before unlocking the region.

While numerous Fungi appear throughout Sumeru, there are a few main areas to visit if you want to find them in clusters:

  • The northern region of Mawtimiya Forest
  • Within Chinvat Ravine, west of Gandharva Ville
  • Surrounding Pardis Dhyai
  • East of the Ruins of Dahri, in the southern part of Ashavan Realm
  • West of Vanarana

If you’d like to see each location in more detail, check out the Genshin Impact Interactive Map.

While every Fungo type drops Crystalline Cyst Dust, familiarizing yourself with each will help you figure out what elements to use against them and how to set up your party. Below is the list of each Fungi you may find:

  • Floating Dendro Fungus
  • Floating Hydro Fungus
  • Grounded Hydroshroom
  • Stretchy Anemo Fungus
  • Stretchy Geo Fungus
  • Stretchy Pyro Fungus
  • Whirling Cryo Fungus
  • Whirling Electro Fungus
  • Winged Cryshroom
  • Winged Dendroshroom

Make sure that the Fungi you’re fighting are at least Level 60. You’ll only find Fungal Spores and Luminescent Pollen if they’re below this. Because of this, you’ll want to have at least an Adventure Rank of 45 to increase your chances of finding high-level Fungi. If you’re not seeing many Level 60+ enemies, raise your Adventure Rank before searching again.
