Where to Get Faded Red Satin in Genshin Impact

Faded Red Satin is an upgrade material dropped from Eremites in Sumeru and purchased in Paimon’s Bargains. While fighting Eremites is the easier option, they are exclusive to this region, so you’ll have to travel to Sumeru before encountering them. To reach Sumeru, you must be at least Adventure Rank 35 and have Chapter II: Act IV completed.

Unlike other materials such as the Trimmed Red Silk and Rich Red Brocade, it does not matter which level Eremites you’re fighting. Furthermore, the following enemies have a chance of dropping Faded Red Satin in Genshin Impact:

  • Eremite Axe Vanguard
  • Eremite Crossbow
  • Eremite Daythunder
  • Eremite Desert Clearwater
  • Eremite Linebreaker
  • Eremite Ravenbeak Halberdier
  • Eremite Sunfrost
  • Eremite Sword-Dancer

Once you’ve ventured into Sumeru, you’ll have multiple options for finding and defeating The Eremites:

Vanarana

Throughout both eastern and southwestern Vanarana, you’ll find various Eremite enemies scattered around. Just be sure to keep to the main pathways in this area! The easiest way to find them is by taking the easternmost teleporter and travelling west along the road.

Vissudha Field and West of Sumeru City

While the Eremites are scattered in this area, you’ll generally find clusters of them west of Sumeru City and in central Vissudha Field. Similar to before, sticking to the main paths will greatly increase your chances of encountering Eremites. Another way to find them is by using the Statue of the Seven or the southwestern teleporter to gain quick access to their spawn areas.

Yasna Monument

One of the best spots to find an abundance of Eremite enemies is near Yasna Monument. If you have the southern teleporter unlocked, you can quickly find numerous Eremites directly west and north of the area. Alternatively, you can go to the Statue of the Seven and travel towards the two main locations.

If you’re looking for a few extra enemies, you can also head further north to find another small cluster of Eremites.

North of Devantaka Mountain

Although they don’t spawn in the central area, you can find some Eremites southwest and northeast of the mountains. While not the most efficient routes, they’re useful if you’re conveniently in the area and want to snag a few extra red satin drops.

For a visual representation of each location and more, check out the Genshin Impact Interactive Map.

If you’re not looking to defeat any Eremite enemies, you can also purchase it in Paimon’s Bargains for five Masterless Stardust. For every five Masterless Stardust you spend, you’ll gain three Faded Red Satin. However, you can only buy up to 15 batches a month, so this is a useful but finite source.

Genshin Impact is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, and iOS devices through the official website.
