Where to Get Luminescent Pollen in Genshin Impact

There are three main ways to get Luminescent Pollen in Genshin Impact:

  1. Defeating Level 40+ Fungi enemies
  2. Purchasing from Paimon’s Bargains for five Masterless Stardust
  3. Crafted using three Fungal Spores

Paimon’s Bargains

Under Paimon’s Bargains in the Stardust Exchange, you can purchase Luminescent Pollen for five Masterless Stardust. Be careful, though, since this is not an unlimited pollen source! Instead, you’re limited to how much you can buy each month! This option is viable if you only need a few and don’t mind spending a bit of stardust.

Crafting Using Fungal Spores

If you don’t feel like fighting enemies or buying the pollen, you can also get Luminescent Pollen using three Fungal Spores. Use this method if you don’t plan on using any more Fungal Spores or if you have an overabundance. Go to any nearby crafting bench and look for the Luminescent Pollen icon to begin crafting.

Fighting Level 40 Fungi

The main way to infinitely obtain Luminescent Pollen in Genshin Impact is to defeat Level 40 Floating Fungi. They are native to Sumeru, so you’ll have to reach at least Adventure Rank 35 and finish Chapter II: Act IV before unlocking the region.

While Fungi are abundant throughout Sumeru, there are a few main areas to focus on:

  • The northern region of Mawtimiya Forest
  • Within Chinvat Ravine, west of Gandharva Ville
  • Surrounding Pardis Dhyai
  • East of the Ruins of Dahri, in the southern part of Ashavan Realm
  • West of Vanarana

While every Fungo type drops Luminescent Pollen, it’s good to know which ones exist and what to expect when fighting them. At least one Fungus exists for every element in the game, including the newly added Dendro. Below is the list of each Fungi you may encounter:

  • Floating Dendro Fungus
  • Floating Hydro Fungus
  • Grounded Hydroshroom
  • Stretchy Anemo Fungus
  • Stretchy Geo Fungus
  • Stretchy Pyro Fungus
  • Whirling Cryo Fungus
  • Whirling Electro Fungus
  • Winged Cryshroom
  • Winged Dendroshroom

Make sure that the Fungi you’re fighting are at least Level 40. If they’re below this, you’ll only find Fungal Spores among other miscellaneous drops. Furthermore, if the Fungi are Level 60 or higher, you may also find Crystallized Cyst Dust. If you want to maximize your chances of finding Luminescent Pollen, focus on Fungi between levels 40-55.
