Much like Shroud Sacks and Shroud Spores, Shroud Mushrooms are resources that are found in the Shroud in Enshrouded. They’re used to make several important items like Goo, Alchemical base, as well as various armor pieces.

They’re relatively easy to find if you know where to look, as they only spawn in a specific region. So, here is how to get Shroud Mushrooms in Enshrouded.

Shroud Mushrooms grow in the Shroud-covered areas of the Revelwood region. Look for tall mushroom stalks with large caps and a faint green glow underneath the caps. These are very easy to spot and stand out from the normal vegetation in the Shroud.

Now, you can go into any Shroud-covered area in Revelwood, and you’ll find a bunch of them just by exploring. The quickest way to find them is to fast travel to the Revelwood Ancient Spire and jump off from the East and glide to the Shroud area. Then, just keep walking on the road, and you will find a bunch of them.

Once you’ve found a mushroom stalk, equip an axe and chop it down just as you would a tree. The stalk will break apart and drop Shroud Mushrooms for you to collect.

Larger stalks provide more mushrooms, with some yielding around eight to twelve at a time. This makes it worth seeking out the bigger clusters if you want a lot of mushrooms.

What Are Shroud Mushrooms Used For?

Shroud Mushrooms are used in several crafting recipes, including:

  • Goo: Requires two Shroud Mushrooms, one Bug Dust, and one Springlands Dirt.
  • Alchemical Base: Used in alchemy recipes alongside other materials.
  • Armor: Several helmets and other equipment pieces require Shroud Mushrooms.
  • Flask of the Fell: Requires ten Shroud Mushrooms per craft.

If you’re gathering materials to craft Goo for your Flame upgrade, remember that you’ll need 30 Shroud Mushrooms to make the 15 Goo required to strengthen your Flame from Level 3 to Level 4.

It’s worth collecting extra whenever you visit Revelwood, as you’ll need these mushrooms for more than one crafting recipe.
