Where to Find Peridot in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You’ll find peridots in Dazzle Beach and Peaceful Meadow. Whenever you mine the dark stones lining the cliffsides, there is a chance you’ll obtain peridot. Make sure you check along the outer perimeter of these two areas, particularly near staircases and small nooks, to ensure you don’t miss any gem rocks.

Despite these dark stones being the secret to getting peridot, you may notice that you’re not getting them from every rock. While these are the only rocks that give you gemstones, they’re not guaranteed to drop any. Instead, you might get stone or coal. If you’re in the wrong area, you might also get another gem, such as topaz or aquamarine. Make sure you stay within Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach.

If you want to increase your chances of finding peridot, look for dark stones with green gemstones coming out of them. When you break these, you have a guaranteed chance of getting the gem, with a high probability of getting its shiny variant.

Another tip is to bring a high-level mining buddy with you as you’re looking for gems. While they don’t necessarily increase your odds of finding them, they have a chance to double your drops! If you hang out with someone with high-level mining and get peridot while mining, you may get two instead!
