Where my Healers at in Honkai: Star Rail? – Answered

Living on a prayer

Honkai: Star Rail is sure to turn players on their heads with a unique system that is meant to feel like an open world but entirely relies on turn-based combat like a traditional RPG. Although, the funny thing about our first starter team is that we actually do not have one of the key ingredients when it comes to starting an RPG: a healer. So, where are all the Healers in Honkai: Star Rail?

Where are all the Healers in Honkai: Star Rail?

In Honkai: Star Rail, each character follows a Path and that Path dictates their role in combat. Although the terms may be foreign, their skills will not be–Preservation for Shielders, Nihility for Debuffers, and Harmony for Raising Skills among your own party. The Path that healers follow in Honkai: Star Rail is called the Path of Abundance. So each character that follows that Path will be a healer.

Thus far, the only Pathfinders in Abundance are Bailu, Natasha, and Luocha, however, he will not be available until later updates. With Honkai: Star Rail still being new, it may be some time before we have a good selection of Healers. Until then, here is how to get the ones that are currently available. You will find that it may not be as hard as you think.

Where to Get Bailu in Honkai: Star Rail

Now, let us not kid around. Getting Bailu will actually prove to be quite difficult given that she is a Five-Star Character. But she is available on quite a few banners. For all starting players, there will be the Starter Event Banner, which will guarantee that you get a Five-Star character within 50 pulls or less. You are also able to purchase a 10-pull with only eight Star Rail Passes instead of a full 10.

She is also available on the Standard Event Warp Banner. As one of the original Five-Stars in Honkai: Star Rail, you can either get her when losing a 50/50 to a Character Event Warp Banner or when wishing on the Standard Banner although your chances can be quite slim given that the odds will be competing with Five-Star Light Cones and other characters.

While you may have your heart set out on trying for another character, do not dismiss Bailu just yet because of her small stature. Currently, she is one of the strongest healers in the game with the ability to revive characters almost immediately after they have fallen in the midst of battle. If you find that you get a character that you are not so hyped about then it may just be worth a reroll in Honkai: Star Rail to see what other characters you can get. A Bailu just might save your life!

Where to Get Natasha in Honkai: Star Rail

Natasha is a much easier goal in Honkai: Star Rail for your healer since she is a Four-Star. And while there are quite a few units that you get in all of the banners, Natasha is indeed one of them. Though it may be quite difficult unless she is part of the Character Event Banner then your chances are greatly increased.

But the best part about Natasha is that you will actually gain her as a free unit for merely progressing the story in the game and completing missions. Upon competitions of the Trailblazer Mission, “Lying in Rust,” like Herta, you will gain a free Natasha to add to your team compositions.

Where to Get Luocha in Honkai: Star Rail

Like Bailu, Luocha is a Five-Star Abundance character in Honkai: Star Rail, only available in the limited-run Warp Banners. This traveling merchant won’t be as easy to get as Bailu however, since he does not belong to the Permanent Warp Banner. Characters like Luocha are only available during the 20 days that Honkai: Star Rail assigns them and can often take a few months to a year in order to be available as seen in HoYoverse’s sister games.

As a Five-Star, he is an amazing healer, taking turns outside of his own to heal units that fall too far into the red. After triggering twice or in tandem with his Ultimate, he also summons a field that will heal the party whenever they attack enemies, including follow-ups. Even though you are only limited to four characters in your team, you should never neglect the importance of a healer within your party!

Where to Get Lynx in Honkai: Star Rail

Back to Easy Street, Lynx is a Four-Star Abundance character who will be added to the rotation of four stars that appear alongside the Limited-Run Banners. After 1.3 concludes, Lynx will be added to the pool of the Limited-Run Warp Banners and Permanent Banners so there will be a chance of pulling her whenever wishing even if she does not appear as part of the cast. For example, though March 7th, Sushang, and Natasha may appear alongside the Four-Star, it is still possible to pull Lynx after the 1.3 update concludes.

Lynx will be the latest of the healers that are going to be introduced in Honkai: Star Rail so while the pool of healers may still be small, you shouldn’t overestimate these characters just because they serve a purpose to use their skills in keeping characters alive. Like Natasha and Bailu, Lynx will primarily be used for healing but she can also assist in removing debuffs from her party as well as increase their effects depending on the Eidolons that are unlocked for her.

It is certainly difficult to gain a healer in this game, but there are plenty of options around it whether to use Preservation Characters to help shield you or to wait it out in the story long enough to get Natasha. Who knows, you might just get lucky enough to get Bailu! Take a review over how to get some free wishes from Honkai: Star Rail’s early missions and check out the current banners to see if any new healers are available! Happy Trailblazing!
