Disney Dreamlight Valley was released as paid Early Access on September 6th, 2022, and the game has a small, but dedicated fanbase across all available platforms. Many players want to try out Disney Dreamlight Valley, and they seek information on when DDV will be free to play.
When Does Disney Dreamlight Valley Come Out For Free?
Unfortunately, Gameloft turned course just about a month before the full release of Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it seems that for now, DDV will not be F2P.

It is still included on Xbox Game Pass (on Microsoft Store on PC, and Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One). It is also available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam (PC), Epic Store (PC), and Nintendo Switch, but only if you purchase any of the Founder’s Packs.
Gameloft last announced this back in July 2022, which you can read on Gameloft’s website. At that time, it was announced that the game would come out during 2023, with fans expecting an early 2023 release. However, it’s anyone’s guess when exactly Disney Dreamlight Valley will come out and transition to the free-to-play model.
2023 Content Roadmap for Disney Dreamlight Valley
In the official 2023 Content Roadmap, Gameloft has announced a lot of cool stuff that you can see in the picture we’ve brought to you below.
The part that interests you the most is the full release of Disney Dreamlight Valley and we’ve found some information about this as well, on the official Disney Dreamlight Valley Discord, so here’s the quote

Basically, what this means is that Gameloft is trying really hard to release the game fully by the end of the year. Let’s see what transpires from this.
