Counter-Strike 2 (or, CS2, as we’ll call it apparently) was announced in March of this year. The CS:GO community has welcomed it big time and players worldwide cannot wait to play the new CS2. It doesn’t matter if we are talking about casual players, more serious ones, professionals, streamers, or people who work in anything related to CS:GO esports, the hype is through the roof. There were even marketplace incidents regarding CS:GO cases where the supply and demand were heavily disrupted because some skins are now highly sought after. So, let’s get back to the subject: When is the new CS2 coming out?
Is CS2 Out Yet? When is Counter-Strike 2 Coming Out?

What is the CS2 Release Date?
Valve was really mysterious about CS2 from the get-go. The public managed to dig out information about “something going on” last year, for the CS:GO anniversary, and it was expected that this would be announced at that time, which would be more than appropriate.

Valve said that CS2 will be arriving on Steam during the Summer of 2023. When exactly? We don’t know. And if you ask me, it’s better if it’s delayed as much as possible if this would result in a better experience for all the players.
