After reaching the end of the season in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, we’ve reached the point where all players must now swap from FIFA to EA Sports FC and step into the new era. Before the end of the last season, some players, if not most, will have FIFA points left over, which they will want to transfer from the previous EA football game to EA FC 24. In this guide, I’ll be answering the question: Can players transfer their FIFA points to FC 24? If yes, how do you go about doing it?
EA Sports FC 24: Can You Transfer Your Points From FIFA 23?
Yes, players can transfer all the points and whatever progress must be carried over to EA Sports FC 24. With previous FIFA titles, EA made it possible to transfer points between titles with ease. However, there is a catch. Players can only transfer and convert points to the same family console.
This means that you can only transfer and convert points from PlayStation to PlayStation and from Xbox to Xbox, etc. There has been no word or report of cross-gen transfers for EA Sports FC or any other EA Sports games for now or the foreseeable future. If you’ve changed console types, you’ll need to start fresh in Ultimate Team.
How to Transfer Your FIFA Points to EA Sports FC 24
To transfer your old FIFA points to FC 24, you’ll have to wait until you have the game and can log in to FC 24 Ultimate Team. On your first login to one of the game modes, Ultimate Team, Clubs, or VOLTA, a pop-up will prompt you, asking you to select one of the following:
- Yes, you would like to transfer your entire point balance from FIFA to EA FC 24,
- No, please leave your point balance as is, or
- You’re not sure right now and would like to be asked again later.
If you select one of the first two options from the above choices, you’ll be unable to revert to another option afterward. If you are sure you want to transfer all your points, make sure to pick the first option if you want to transfer all your points.
