The Fastest Way to Increase Fence Reputation in Escape from Tarkov

Level up those moneymakers.

The most underrated way of making money is using your Scav in Escape from Tarkov. However, most people overlook that increasing your Fence reputation will give your Scav more amazing loadouts. Some players even prioritize their Scavs more than their PMCs because playing with random loadouts is also more fun sometimes.

So here’s the best way to increase your Fence reputation in Escape from Tarkov and get those fancy random loadouts.

How to Increase Fence Reputation in Escape from Tarkov

While earning Fence rep has evolved over several wipes already, the one constant thing is that you need 6.0 to max out your reputation with Fence. That is a long grind; learning how to increase your Fence reputation is the key to quickening the process.

Here are all the ways you can increase your Fence reputation:

  • Killing Traitor-Scavs as a Scav.
  • Killing PMCs as a Scav.
  • Taking Vehicle Extracts as a PMC.
  • Finishing Fence tasks.
  • Co-op extraction as a Scav or PMC.

All these actions are done for your Scav, which is why some players call the Fence reputation “Scav Karma.” There are only a few things you can do to increase your Fence reputation, some of which are situational. It will be a long grind, but it will be worth it since Scavs are basically “free money” in the game.

The higher your Scav Karma gets, the more profitable your Scav runs will be.

Best Methods to Increase Fence Reputation in Escape from Tarkov

If you want to focus purely on increasing your Scav Karma, the best way to do it is by running your Scavs in Factory. Runs in the Factory are fast and efficient. There are several Toolboxes, Safes, Duffle Bags, Medbags, Technical Crates, and loose loot around the Factory to grab. You can also get technical loot for your quests.

The map is also small, so you can easily get to all these spots and find items until you are fully loaded. Extraction is also easy because of the small size.

Each run will take 2-3 minutes, and you’ll get around 0.01 for surviving as a Scav. That is a long grind since you’ll need 600 runs to reach 6.0. However, several PMCs are lurking around the Factory to either finish eliminating PMCs with a pistol quest or other difficult quests like Tarkov Shooter Part 3. Finding any of these PMCs will help you win more battles, giving you a 0.02 or more increase to Scav Karma if you win your fights and extract.

This also means you want to get your Intelligence Center as high as possible to reduce the Scav cooldown. When on cooldown, you should use your PMC and go for maps with vehicle extractions.

In the image above, you’ll get a whopping 0.2 Fence reputation for using the vehicle extraction. However, it has diminishing returns. After extracting for the first time, you’ll get 0.2. The next, you’ll get 0.1 until you reach 0.01.

You should capitalize on getting these bonuses on each map because their bonuses are separate. You should do at least four or five vehicle extractions on these maps:

  • Shoreline
  • Customs
  • Lighthouse
  • Interchange
  • Streets of Tarkov
  • Woods

Those are a lot of maps, but you can easily get around 3.0+ Scav Karma if you exhaust all these maps. After finishing all these vehicle extractions, you have no choice but to follow the factory strategy and keep doing daily Fence quests until you reach 6.0 Scav Karma.
