Where to Find the Barbarian Armor Set in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

There are three pieces of Barbarian armor you can get in Tears of the Kingdom:

  • Barbarian Armor
  • Barbarian Helm
  • Barbarian Leg Wraps

How to Find the Barbarian Armor in Tears of the Kingdom

The first piece of the Barbarian armor set is located in Crenel Hills Cave. You will find this cave in the northeastern part of Hyrule Field at coordinates (0486, 0729, 0041).

As you enter the cave and go down the corridor, you will find a large cavern with stone pillars, Luminous stones and a Stone Talus in the center of a water pool. Sneak past the Talus or defeat it before heading to the back of the room at coordinates (0605, 0794, 0015). You’ll see a patch of Luminous stones, which you can break with a stone weapon or blast with a bomb flower.

Don’t worry if you try to fight the Stone Talus and it defeats you. You can return here and run past it, avoiding combat altogether and going to the chest room. This is what I ended up doing, and I can confirm that you do not have to defeat the Stone Talus to access the room.

Watch out for the Stone Talus and head toward the stones at the back of the room!

Once you break the luminous stones on the wall, a path will open for you to enter. You’ll find a chest at coordinates (0628, 0815, 0026) with the Barbarian Armor inside!

As you run through this cave, you’ll see various statues indicating which way to go. As shown in the picture below, the stone statues face north in the first room. Head in this direction to find the next area!

In the second room, you will find a bunch of statues in a circle, looking toward its center. The exception is a group of three statues facing some red stone rocks, which you’ll have to break to progress forward.

In the next room, you’ll see a bunch of enemies off to the side. You can defeat them all or sneak past, but either way, your destination is the center of the room where the red rocks are. Break the rocks and descend into the water for the final part!

Once you jump down and hit the water, you’ll move onto another room with three sets of statues: a group of five, one and three. Stand on the platform with the three statues and use Ascend to enter the room with the Barbarian Helm chest!

How to Find the Barbarian Leg Wraps in Tears of the Kingdom

The last part of the Barbarian armor set is in Walnot Mountain Cave south of Retsam Forest and east of Hateno Village at coordinates (3929, -2095, 0127).

Once you enter the cave, continue down the corridor past the Ice Keeses and Horriblin until you see some ice Chuchu slimes. To your left, you’ll see an opening in the wall at coordinates (4063, -1905, 0127), as shown in the screenshot below.

From here, you can climb the wall or the ramp and glide over. Personally, I just climbed up the wall once I found it, but you can use whichever method feels more comfortable for you. Either way, enter this opening to see the Barbarian chest structure covered in ice! Use any fire-based weapons or items, like a Fire Fruit, to melt the ice and reveal the chest containing the Barbarian Leg Wraps.
