How to Complete White Goats Gone Missing Quest in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)
Below are the steps you’ll have to take to finish the White Goats Gone Missing Quest:
- Speak to Penn at Tabantha Bridge Stable to begin the quest
- Talk to Chork
- Follow the trail of pinecones
- Examine the recipe bottle
Finding Penn and Chork
To start the quest, head to Tabantha Bridge Stable and find Penn in the empty goat stable at coordinates (-2909, 0523, 0169). He will explain the situation, telling you that a herd of white goats suddenly disappeared! Penn recommends asking Chork for more details.
Nearby, you’ll find Chork in the pen, stressing about the goats running away. Chorks explains that Princess Zelda shared a recipe for the goats, describing the use of Hylian pinecones. However, the goats wouldn’t eat the pinecones and instead ran away!
With this crucial hint in mind, it’s time to look for some goats.
Where to Find the Goats in TOTK
As you leave the goat pen, you’ll notice a trail of whole pinecones on the ground. Follow these pinecones along the path to coordinates (-2552, 0411, 0150) to see the goats and a bottle near a large mushroom.

Interact with the bottle to initiate a cutscene of Chork rereading the recipe, realizing the pinecones had to be ground into a powder.
With this realization in mind, Chork returns to the stable, with Penn promptly stepping in and congratulating you on a job well done. He’ll reward you with some rupees and return to HQ, concluding the White Goats Gone Missing quest in Tears of the Kingdom!
