Before you can unlock Ember Valley, you’ll have to collect food and make your way to the northern part of Rainbow Fields. In particular, you’re looking for a Pink Slime Gordo! While you don’t need a jetpack to reach it, you’ll want to follow a specific route, so you don’t get lost:

  • Starting from the Conservatory, head west and follow the path until you reach an area full of pink and cotton slimes.
  • Continue southwest down the paths until you reach the Refinery Link.
  • Head directly north until you find an area containing multiple archways and ramps. Turn right into a small entranceway, where you’ll find the Pink Gordo sitting on dark stone.

Since the Pink Gordo eats any food, toss a bunch of vegetables, fruits or chickens into its mouth until it pops. Doing this will reveal a water spout, which you can jump up to reach the cliffside to your left. On this ledge, walk west slightly until you find the Teleporter Unlock Node. Interact with it and watch as the stones drop, revealing the Ember Valley teleporter. You can now run over here and enter the teleporter at your leisure.

Slime Rancher 2 is available in Early Access on PC and Xbox Series X|S through Steam and Game Pass. If you’re interested in learning more about the game, check out Whether the Game Has Fall Damage and Where to Find Batty Slimes in Slime Rancher 2.
