Players will be given the ability to encounter a Shiny Hippopotas during the schedule of the Sinnoh Region Celebration Event. The event begins at 8 AM local time on Friday, February 7th. It will then conclude at 10 PM local time on Monday, February 10th. This schedule means players will have a little over three days to enjoy everything the Sinnoh Region Celebration Event has to offer and possibly encounter a Shiny Hippopotas. Unfortunately, there is no guaranteed way to make sure you run into a Shiny Hippopotas during the event. You will have to pray to the RNG gods that they will bless you and allow you to run into this character if you are interested in adding it to your team.
