Gearing up for the Sinnoh Celebration Event on the horizon? You might find it handy to know how to get a Sinnoh Stone in Pokemon GO.

If you’re looking to really collect them all in Pokemon GO then you’re really going to have to make sure that you’re the master of every possible generational region. Yes, we’re not talking just Unova. We’re also talking Sinnoh. We’re coming up on a Sinnoh Celebration event this month, so what better time to check out this guide if you’re not sure about how to get a Sinnoh Stone in Pokemon GO.

How to Get A Sinnoh Stone in Pokemon GO

If you’ve already checked out our guide on how to get an Unova Stone, then some of these tips might actually seem a little bit familiar to you. If you’re also on the hunt for Unova Stones, we’ve relinked our advice on how to get them here for your convenience.

Here’s how to get Sinnoh Stones in Pokemon Go:

  • Complete daily research tasks for 7 days and receive the Research Breakthrough
  • Small chance to receive a Sinnoh Stone by defeating Team Rocket Go Leaders
  • Another small chance to get a Sinnoh Stone from GO League Mystery Items
  • Defeat Trainers in PvP

So, the most straightforward way to pick up a Sinnoh Stone is probably to complete Research Tasks every day. While you’re kicking about PokeStops and getting Research Tasks completed, you’re going to want to keep that streak going for 7 days if you want a chance at getting your Sinnoh Stone. Again, this isn’t a foolproof plan since you may even well get a Unova Stone. However, it’s a step in the right direction. You might also be able to net a Sinnoh Stone if you go up against the leaders on Community Day (the next one is coming up soon) and thrash them. We’re personally a fan of cranking through Research Tasks for a week straight, but you do you.

Now that you have our advice on how to get a Sinnoh Stone in Pokemon GO, it should be a piece of cake for you to pocket a couple and to really get into the swing of the Sinnoh Celebration event that’s coming up incredibly soon.
